This space is being created as a means to document aspects of my life that are ultimately leading me to where I want to be, to help myself reflect on things I learn, and hopefully to inspire others to look at their own lives in a similar way.
A little about myself... I am a Registered Nurse living in Calgary, Alberta. Having been raised on beautiful Vancouver Island, I still think of myself as a West-Coaster, but I will admit I have been having a bit of a love affair with my new home. I go back to the island when I can to visit my wonderful family, my black lab Jakey, and kitty named Jessebelle. I love them all enormously.
A man named Morrie Schwartz suggested, "Devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning." Living life with greater intention is both challenging and exciting, and I know writing about it will challenge me even further. So here's to wild thoughts, living with intention, and loving in every aspect of life.
